Getting Married at St Anne's
We are always delighted to welcome couples to St Anne’s for your wedding or for your Service of Blessing. We would love you to hold this most important of services here at St Anne’s.
Our beautiful church seats up to 100 and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements so that your ceremony is just as you want it.
Legal requirements
To be married at St Anne’s you do have to fulfil one of the legal requirements listed below.
For most couples, the best way of qualifying is by rule 2, which is to worship regularly at the church for 6 months (a minimum attendance of once per month is advised). This means that you get to know the church and we get to know you. It will also help you to prepare, not only practically but also spiritually for your wedding, and it also gives Canon Dave the opportunity of getting to know you. This means we can work together on creating a wonderful service for your marriage so that this most important of days is perfect for you.
1. If you are a resident in either Beeley or Edensor parish you can be married at either church
2. You have, at any time, habitually attended public worship for at least six months in either Beeley or Edensor parish
3. You were baptised in either Beeley or Edensor (but not if baptism took place at the same time as confirmation)
4. If you have been confirmed, you were presented you for confirmation by either Beeley or Edensor parish
